Competed at Laffak today, we came 3rd! The course was pretty difficult as the double was down hill and to get to some of the fences you had to go back on yourself! Ground was quite hard too. However Bailey jumped lovely and im very pleased with him!

Went to Burrows lane show today and did very well. Weather was very hot and the show itself was dragging but that didn't effect baileys performance. He jumped clear in the first round (we managed the double - it only had one stride in between!), we then got through to the jump off. Sadly he refused the double in the jump off (this was due to me not setting him up right) so we got 4 faults but we still managed to come 3rd place, personally i think we would have won if i had set him up to the double properly! ....

Had our 2nd lesson with Simon Ballard today and we paid extra attention to working Bailey over doubles! He jumped very well (and very BIG too) but was dripping in sweat afterwards. Hoping to go out with him to a small show this weekend!!!

Went to Aintree with Bailey and he did well, better than he did at Abram. Shouldn't be long before we are back on form.

All new cleaning stock has arrived today and i now have a Eco Friendly carpet and rug cleaner - it smells fantastic and i have tried it already and its brilliant. Im pleased to say that all my cleaning products are now natural and eco friendly (apart from my oven cleaner as i am yet to find an eco friendly oven cleaner!)...

*** Competed at Abram Hall Riding Club today - it has been over 6 months since i have competed on Bailey however he has been schooling great at the stables so i decided to take him for a day out! We entered the intermediate jumping (Wish i had done the Open now - as he would have had more to think about with the fences being slightly higher.) He raced around with me but jumped the fences with complete ease, however i made some silly mistakes (took some bad turns) and that caused us 4 faults in the first round and in the jump off 4 faults again. Hence we was un placed. Oh well - not bad considering we have had some time off! ***
